| Job Responsibilites: | JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE The hands-on manufacturing engineering director is responsible for leading a team of manufacturing engineering personnel. The position will be responsible for driving new program / product development, implementation of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement of existing processes, and support of on-time-delivery requirements. The successful candidate will be highly knowledgeable of the following manufacturing processes including: metal cutting, plating, CNC programming, assembly, testing, non-destructive testing, dimensional/visual inspection techniques and mechanical assembly. The individual will also be able to analyze and interpret technical data (engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, etc.) and create manufacturing processes, operations sheets, fixtures, tooling, and other necessary process engineering plans in order to insure production of high quality products. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES • Drive business metrics (safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost) • Lead manufacturing engineering team • Based on requirements from customer orders, plan sequences of operations for fabrication and assembly of products. • Ensure efficient and effective manufacturing methods are used that are compatible to available machines.

| Job Requirements: | EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Masters of Science in Engineering or MBA preferred. Experience: 20 + years of manufacturing engineering experience in precision metal products high volume manufacturing environment. Firearms or related products experience desired. Background in materials and process and design required.
