• 7 years+ Experience with embedded control systems with real time kernel
• 7 years+ Software design experience using C++ with OO methodology
• Experience designing with Windows XP OS
• Design experience using QNX operating system
• Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical/electrical mechanisms
• High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
• High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others
• Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals required
• High level of oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of computer software as it pertains to engineering
• Previous locomotive familiarity and design experience
• Familiarity with Telelogic tools suite such as DOORS, CM Synergy, and Rhapsody
• Experience with networks, specifically CAN as well as WLAN and other wireless technologiesBSE, BS in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering |
