We are looking for an Engineering/Quality Manager who will be a key member of the leadership team that has responsibility for the overall direction of the business. This individual will be a proven leader with the ability to create a technology strategic vision (products and processes) that aligns with the long term goals of the business. In addition, this position is responsible for: • All aftermarket repair development projects in order to drive growth and improve overall product portfolio• Working with manufacturing to improve current/develop new processes to drive productivity and profitability • Mentoring and developing engineering staff to improve employee engagement and retention • Developing and executing research and development initiatives through active participation in aftermarket technology council. • Ensuring the quality of products meets or exceeds customer requirements. • Supervising and overseeing activities of process, product, and project engineers • Interfacing with customers and FAA representatives on quality and engineering issues. • Providing technical direction to manufacturing. • Conducting periodic reviews of repair processes to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and developing strategies consistent with long range plans of the plant and the corporation. • Supervising and overseeing activities of Chief Inspector, Quality Engineer, laboratory and inspection personnel and directing all quality assurance activities for continuous improvement efforts. • Quarterly management reviews of the quality system. • Ensuring the department is operated in accordance with existing corporate and plant policies and complies with applicable laws and regulations, |
