| Job Responsibilites: | | *Supervising a staff skilled and knowledgeable in manufacturing technology; *Prioritizing objectives and scheduling in manufacturing engineering activities; *Developing the staff in the areas of tooling, manufacturing engineering, methods and processes, cost estimating, maintenance supervision and quality control using Six Sigma, Lean and CI tools; *Improving existing and developing new production processes and methods; *Assisting manufacturing in solving technical tooling, quality, process and maintenance problems; *Acting as a liaison with Product Engineering and Manufacturing; *Implementing the engineering change and release activity; *Directing maintenance and tool room functions. |
| Job Requirements: | | *8+ years experience in similar Manufacturing Engineering position; *Must have a minimum of four years of management experience; *Experienced with Six Sigma, Lean, and Continuous Improvement methodologies; *A proven track record of minimizing product cost and maximizing product manufacturing efficiency through the use of existing and new techniques; *A proven track record of maximizing product quality and minimizing product liability. |
